Photography

When The Shining Lights approached us about doing the design work for their album we knew it would be a great fit. We all agreed that something organic would be the best way to go and since we specialize in natural light, outdoor photography we knew we could hit a homerun with their imagery. We took a half day during the summer to shoot at three locations...a wheat field, old barn and a large hill to play off the concept of their album title 'Taking The Hill'.

Album Artwork

The album artwork really came together pretty easily once we had the photos done. The photos turned out so great it made it much easier to get creative with layout options. Once we landed on yellow as the accent color we were able to introduce some texture and a mix of modern type and handwritten script fonts. We are very pleased with how this all came together from start to finish.

Website

With the band's website we focused on making it look captivating and heavily branded like the album artwork. Each page had a different photo header and we developed out all of the features most bands want and need. The site has all of the basic info, ability to buy, social media integration, a blog and abiliy to view media and download the band's one sheet.

The band planned a big CD Release concert so we designed tickets, posters and a t-shirt to be availble to fans. This was The Shining Lights first record release so we wanted them to have all of the tools needed to have success right out of the gates.
